Jun 08, 2009 · I am having problems connecting to my network with my xbox 360. The other 3 computers in my house have no problems connecting to the internet. The cable I am using for the xbox 360 to connect it to the modem works with the computer, but not the xbox 360. It worked with the xbox 360 a few months ago, though. If someone could help me, It would be very much appreciated.
My Xbox 360 E says I need to connect a wireless adapter to my console. I got a new 360 a few days ago. I have an Xbox 360 I picked up from a friend (not banned or anything) that I want to get connected to Xbox live. However, it fails at Connecting to Internet. The only way I have been able to get it to work is plugging directly to the modem. That, however, it not a viable option!

Plug it in, use PC to set it up, then use XBox and PC behind the router. My Xbox 360 can’t seem to connect to the internet and disconnects every Friday night. All my other devices connect fine. Is this an Xbox live issue? This happens to me every Friday. Is anyone else facing this issue? I did reset my router twice. My Xbox is old, but my Wii and GameCube are older and they work just fine.
